7" 300 Micron Filter Sock - Eshopps
Keep your tank's water clean and polished with Eshopps 300 Micron Filter Socks!
The circular filter socks are designed to work with Eshopps sumps that accept a 7" standard circular filter sock and are a direct replacement for the included filter socks. The 300-micron rating allows large visible pieces of detritus and other foreign materials to be collected while water and smaller particles will flow through the sock, which is a great balance between polishing and flow rate.
Filter socks are normally placed immediately in the sump keeping large particles, but also critters that could have gone down your overflow from damaging pumps and other expensive pieces of equipment. It is suggested to change or clean the filter sock every 3 days to keep organics from breaking down into ammonia or other toxic compounds.
